Sicily Jass uncovers the influence Italian immigrants had on jazz and the significant role they played in the birth of what is considered the last genre of American music. Set in a timeless Sicily and in the New Orleans of today and yesterday, the film tells the story of Nick La Rocca, founder of the Original Dixieland Jazz Band in 1911.
